Through the Quality of Life project, CLASP identified one of the main barriers to achieving a good quality of life for many community members is the lack of transport available to those without access to a car.
CLASP provides a service to bring people, without a car or means of transport, to and from hospital and medical appointments. There is also a weekly shopping and pension run every Friday. Please contact the office on 071 916 5708 for further information.
CLASP in conjunction with Sligo Cancer Support Centre provides a service to bring patients from the region to appointments at St. Luke’s Hospital in Dublin. The bus leaves on Monday morning and returns on Friday afternoon. Bookings for the service should be made no later than Thursday each week and can be done by contacting 071 917399 or email info@sligocancersupportcentre.ie
